This very popular restaurant serves a menu of Vietnamese style cuisine and incorporates Udon Thani's first drive-thru facility which is usually a lot busier than the restaurant itself.

The menu is not extensive but each item is consistently of the highest quality and can usually be ordered without the chili if that is not your thing.

If your looking for something a little different, very tasty and very affordable then the VT Restaurant is well worth a try. Although we have no figures to back it up, VT could well be the most popular food outlet in Udon Thani when taking into account the vast amount of food sold via the drive-thru.

There are only two branches of VT, Udon and one in Nong Khai but people seem to love it so much they ship vast quantities of their food to Bangkok via aeroplane!

The main item is a kind of sausage that comes with salad, a satay sauce and very thin rice sheets that are used to wrap a small portion of the mixed ingredients. Really messy finger food, lovely!

Conclusion - Whether eating in or taking away the VT provides excellent food at ridiculously low prices, a small takeaway costs around 160baht and will feed approximately 6 people!
