The menu is not extensive but each item is consistently of the highest quality and can usually be ordered without the chili if that is not your thing. This very popular restaurant serves a menu of Vietnamese style cuisine and incorporates Udon Thani's first drive-thru facility which is usually a lot busier than the restaurant itself.
Maae Ya is a very popular restaurant with Thai's and foreigners alike, the menu is predominately Thai but is extensive and offers something for everyone. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The menu is available in English so ordering is easy if your Thai isn't so good.
The Book House & Coffee Shop is one of the more recent additions to Udon Thani's ever expanding choice of eateries but in our opinion, one of the best. Serving a wide selection of both Thai & Western style meals to an excellent standard the Book House should definitely be on your must visit list.
