If your looking for somewhere a little quieter than the norm to stay whilst in Udon Thani "The Retreat" could be the perfect option. Located 15 minutes North of the centre of Udon, The Retreat has everything you would expect from a much larger hotel at a fraction of the cost. A very well cared for swimming pool, well equipped gym, pool table, bar and it also serves very inexpensive meals. The menu is not extensive by any means but the meals on offer are well cooked and very tasty, starting at just 49 baht for Thai dishes and 99 baht for Western style fayre. It should also be noted that the bar is probably one of the cheapest in town!

Conclusion - The owners Glyn & Orn set out to provide a different kind of hotel experience and that is exactly what they have achieved!

The retreat offers safe, family friendly accommodation with excellent facilities at prices that won't break the bank.
